COASTAL REGION, SOUTH AFRICA

klippenkop.jpg

Klippen is a geological term for an outcrop of a rock pushed out of the earth by tectonic plate movements. Klippenkop in Afrikaans unsurprisingly translates as stony-head. The wines in our Klippenkop range are exclusively sourced by us and are only sold to independent merchants within the trade. The wines com from various regions in the Cape and are chosen for their approachable, easy drinking style. The Cinsault Shiraz is a slightly unusual blend and it is a deliciously easy drinking red, whilst the unoaked Chein Blanc is clean, bright and very refreshing. The Pinotage was chosen for its upfront fuits and juiciness.
