QUINCHO – pronounced KEEN-cho is a word used in Chile to describe the place where family and friends gather for outdoor “asado's” or barbecues. This is often a simple wooden structure found in the garden. Grape for Quincho Chile wine are sourced from vineyards in the Maule Valley, which lies between the Andes and the Coastal Mountain range of Chile, benefiting from cooling ocean breezes and misty morning. The coloring of the range reflects the mining heritage of Chile (copper).
