Winemaking
After a cool morning harvest, grapes were crushed and must transferred in steel for primary fermentation, at a temperature of max 28 degrees. A combination of French and American oak was used during maturation of this wine.
Tasting Note
This wine shows a very attractive spicy Shiraz lift with a lovely oak background. The palate is typical of the Margaret River style, with a spicy, peppery edge to soft cherry fruit. Overall, this is a fresh, vibrant and modern style of red wine with a lovely spicy lift.
Serving Suggestion
Excellent with roasted duck breast on a mustard-based sauce, lamb cutlets with ratatouille and cous cous spicy salads.
